Geographic location
The Cap Nord territory is located in the extreme north-west of Morocco, in the mountain range of the Rif. It covers a total area of 13,712 km², or 1.9% of the national territory.
Tourist resources
Benefiting from an exceptional situation in the North of the Kingdom, the Cap Nord territory is characterized by an exceptional cultural and natural heritage and extremely diversified. Tangier and Tetouan have a series of excellent beaches on the Mediterranean coast, complemented by an Atlantic fringe, in Larache and Asilah, which allows to combine seaside and sports tourism. In addition, Tangiers and Chefchaouen contain a varied cultural heritage, for example by their ancient Medinas, or the authentic fishing villages of the Oued Laou.
