Geographic location
The territory Marrakech Atlantique is located in the center of Morocco. It encompasses part of the High Atlas and covers an area of 31 881 km ², or 4.5% of the national territory.

With a strategic position in the heart of the Kingdom, the territory of Marrakech Atlantic is characterized by an exceptional cultural and natural heritage, with an international reputation, with tourism resources that are among the most attractive and diverse in Morocco. The cities of Marrakech and Essaouira contain a unique cultural and historical heritage, with their Medinas and a myriad of cultural sites that tourists could visit. The valleys, the high Atlas mountains, the cliffs, the surrounding gorges, bring to this territory a great diversity of reliefs and landscapes that can attract many national and international tourists.
